If you are insecure of your partner or feel in any way they might be lying to you of their past, Its always smart to go get checked. You are never too sure to get yourself checked because HIV doesn't show up quickly and could me mistaken for another virtual infection like a cold or a regular flu. You start to get sick while the virus (HIV) starts to multiply through out your whole body and weaken your immune system. The most severe systems do not surface until a few years later so if you have had sex, its never too late or early to get yourself checked out at a hospital or clinic.
But what if they are shy to ask their parents or want anyone else to know their business. Is there another alternative?
ReplyDeleteThere are hospitals/clinics where you don't need a parent to get checked. They will work with you to get checked but eventually you'll have to face the fact that you'll have to tell your parents either way.
