"Cocktails"

In my research I've learned that patients who are dealing with conditions affected by HIV/AIDS are having to repeat certain routines every single morning to help them get through the day. Patients, such as my cousin, would take what they call a "cocktail". Basically a large amount of pills that help reduce the virus in the blood (viral load) so it is no longer detected. Though AIDS cocktails aren’t a cure, they are a very effective treatment. They can delay progression to AIDS, help rebuild and maintain the immune system, and reduce complications.
